Lisa J. Babiarz has been specializing in all aspects of workers’ compensation law as well as social security disability for nearly 20 years. Prior to receiving her law degree from Syracuse University in 1999, Lisa worked for over 10 years as a Registered Professional Nurse at Auburn Community Hospital. With training and experience in both law and nursing, Lisa is particularly well qualified to understand how an injury can affect a person’s ability to work, and to advocate for the rights of injured and disabled workers. Lisa is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the New York State Bar, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Injured Workers Bar Association. Her previous legal experience includes working as defense counsel for workers’ compensation insurance carriers as well as working as a Nurse Case Manager for a workers compensation insurance agency. In addition to her law degree, Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse.

Lisa has dedicated her entire professional life to helping others. In her role as an advocate for injured workers and the disabled, she is committed to giving as much personal attention as possible to being directly involved with her clients, frequently available for phone conferences during off hours, evenings and weekends.
